Our Process
Our design-build process is detail-oriented and customized to your specifications. Our designers adjust their approach to match your desired level of involvement.
Step One
The first step is a complimentary consultation in your home or at your business site. Here we discuss your design ideas, ask plenty of questions, and get on the same page about design approach for your project.
Step Two
As soon as possible we want you to feel the finishes, visualize the design, and smell the saw dust. We will meet in our showroom where you can inspect cabinetry options, select door styles, and see preliminary designs by viewing 3D CAD plans on a computer. We also want you to create a realistic budget early on, so in this second meeting we provide a fully-itemized cost proposal. Then you can visit our woodshop and see how everything is built!
Step Three
After the second meeting you have seen the drawings, the budget, and the product, and you have built a trusting relationship with Cadence Cabinetry. When you decide that Cadence Cabinetry is the right fit for your remodeling or cabinetry project, we sign a contract and receive a deposit, which puts your project on the schedule. If you would like more design time before making a decision, we may request a small design retainer.
