At Cadence Cabinetry our design-build process is tailored to be as involved or simplified as our client may need. Homeowners might want more help while interior designers often just need cabinetry specifications.
The first step is a complementary in-home consultation. Here we discuss your design ideas, ask plenty of questions, and get on the same page as far as the general design approach for your project.
As soon as possible we want you to see 3D CAD drawings, feel our cabinetry, and smell the wood dust. We will meet in the showroom where you can inspect our cabinetry, select door styles, and do a visual tour of your project on the computer. We also want you to know a realistic budget early on, so in this second meeting we provide you with a fully-itemized cost proposal for the project. Then we step through the back door into the woodshop and see how everything is built!
After this second meeting you have seen the drawings, the budget, and the product, and have built a trusting relationship with Cadence Cabinetry. If you would like more design time before making a decision, we may request a small design retainer. When you decide that Cadence Cabinetry is the right shop for you, we sign a contract and receive a deposit, which puts your project on the schedule.
